On the 6th of September, Bulgaria celebrates Unification Day, which commemorates the 1885 unification of the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia. This is a national holiday but because it is on Saturday, the day off for Bulgarians will be on Monday, 08.09.2025.
